Super Seawind N71RJ, is a custom manufactured all-composite amphibian designed to be faster and fly higher than any airplane in its class and beating most twin-piston airplanes and with less fuel consumption – important in today’s high-cost world. Example: A 500-mile trip can take just three hours for up to four people or two people can travel 1,000 miles. With a ceiling of FL 240 and a 550 HP PT6 driving a constant speed 5-blade MT Prop, this Seawind can burn ground at less than 25 GPH with Pratt & Whitney PT6 power. This plane can fly coast to coast between sunup and sunset. With a useful load of over 1,200 pounds and a six-foot cargo bay, the pilot can pack fuel, cargo, and passengers and still have a spare weight capacity. Further, this Seawind has an easily accessible nose compartment for quick ground access to batteries or stuff.

Super Seawind N71RJ means no airport is needed.

1RJ lands on its hull and becomes a boat in the water with paddle steering. Staying dry, 1RJ can be driven up a boat ramp or onto a beach to tie down. It’s great for camping or beachside lodging.

Avionics

Avionics are state-of-the-art glass panels backed by traditional gauges except for the AI that is multifunctional as a heading indicator and GPS speed and tracking. More. A G-900 Garmin leads the pack with A-Z functionality with SV, HITS, RNAV, VNAV, ILS, VOR, and user fix navigation. Its PFD and MFD provide all the information a pilot needs for a safe flight VFR or IFR. The two-axis Trutrak autopilot couples with fully automated RNAV and VNAV functions to lighten the workload.  A Grand Rapids Technology EFIS engine monitoring, EIS, and has full PFD and MFD backup displays all on a single screen that also monitors the engine and nose landing gear with a closed-circuit camera.
